Nate Diaz Interested in UFC Return 'If They'll Have Me'

Nate Diaz, after nearly three years away from the UFC, recently indicated a desire to return to the octagon. In a podcast interview, he expressed interest in fighting again, mentioning no specific opponent but highlighting potential matchups with Max Holloway and Ilia Topuria. Diaz, who left the UFC after a victory over Tony Ferguson, has competed in boxing since then. He stated he is now focused on competing at welterweight and possibly middleweight, and the idea of a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor remains a consideration.

"I plan on going back to UFC," Diaz said. "If they'll have me, I would like to go back and f-ing whoop someone's ass there."

"Those are the guys right there who I would want to fight, like Max Holloway" Diaz said. "I would like to fight the other guy who's really good too, Topuria."
