While some alleged behavioral issues, Mokaev said it was due to his fighting style, which has often been criticized for not being fan-friendly. Mokaev has since picked up wins at Brave Combat Federation, Karate Combat, and 971 FC. Mokaev recently won the inaugural Brave CF flyweight title with a head-kick knockout win over Gerard Burns this past November."
