Michel Pereira changed many aspects of his training and overhauled his entire camp ahead of the fight. He states he feels like a different person and promises an aggressive, entertaining performance. The matchup carries added familiarity because both fighters trained together at Xtreme Couture earlier in their careers. Pereira initially hesitated to face a former teammate but recognizes such matchups occur within large teams. The opponent moved his camp to Texas to avoid conflict. Pereira affirms both fighters have put in the work and expects both to put on a show at UFC Houston.
