Malcolm Wellmaker, an undefeated fighter with a record of 9-0, is set to battle Kris Moutinho (14-6) at UFC Atlanta, seeking to prove he has more knockout power than Sean O'Malley. Wellmaker notes that O'Malley was unable to finish Moutinho, who previously fought O'Malley on short notice. Moutinho is returning to the UFC after a successful run on the regional circuit. "Do I have more power than Sean O'Malley? So I'm on a mission to show the world that I can hit harder than him," Wellmaker told Carlo Perruzza.
"If I do this, I think that's gonna put a very nice asterisk next to my power, as having the power that Sean O'Malley doesn't have."
