Magomed Zaynukov admitted to attacking Dillon Danis at UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden and said he struck Danis over past comments and posts. Video angles identified Danis and Abubakar Nurmagomedov and later showed Zaynukov striking Danis in the back of the head. Zaynukov is a training partner of Islam Makhachev and previously gained attention because Khabib Nurmagomedov mispronounced his nickname, producing the "John Pork" meme. The incident mirrored the Team Khabib brawl at UFC 229, led to Danis being banned from future UFC events by Dana White, and resulted in the group being removed from the venue.
