Lightweight Champion Salahdine Parnasse Brutalizes Marcin Held in KSW 114 Headliner
"He dipped into his deep bag of tricks-the Frenchman even connected with a jumping head kick in the first round-and toyed with Held on the feet and on the ground. Parnasse eventually pinned the Polish grappler to the fence and unleashed a volley of punishing hooks to the body from both hands in the second round. Held collapsed at his feet, where he absorbed a few more punches before referee Aleh Miliakou elected to intervene on his behalf."
"Wrzosek (7-1, 7-1 KSW) maximized his height and reach advantages with a persistent jab and damaging low kicks. Bajor attempted to answer with attempted takedowns and repeated clinches but enjoyed only limited success. Early in the middle stanza, Wrzosek caught the Universal Rzeszow rep with a crushing knee as he plowed forward. Bajor crashed and burned where he stood. No follow-up shots were required."
Salahdine Parnasse retained the KSW lightweight championship by finishing Marcin Held with punches 3:35 into Round 2 at KSW 114 in Radom, Poland. Parnasse controlled the bout on the feet and the ground, landed a jumping head kick in Round 1, pinned Held to the fence, and stopped him with punishing hooks until the referee intervened. Arkadiusz Wrzosek rebounded from a prior submission loss, scoring a second-round knockout of Szymon Bajor with a perfectly timed knee after using his jab and low kicks. Wiktoria Czyzewska defeated Tamires Vidal via body kick and follow-up punches in the first round.
