Kevin Holland (28-14) will fight Mike Malott (12-2) in a welterweight matchup at UFC Vancouver (UFC Fight Night 262) on Oct. 18 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Holland has fought four times in 2025, recording a 2-2 slate with recent wins over Gunnar Nelson and Vicente Luque and losses to Reinier de Ridder and Daniel Rodriguez. Malott earned his contract via Dana White's Contender Series and finished his first three UFC opponents, suffered a TKO loss to Neil Magny, then rebounded with consecutive wins, most recently finishing Charlie Radtke at UFC 315.

Holland and Malott are set to trade leather in a welterweight matchup at UFC Vancouver - also known as UFC Fight Night 262 - on Oct. 18 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Dana White announced the booking on Tuesday night. Malott will have the home crowd advantage behind him while Holland tries to return to winning ways.
Known for being active, Holland has already fought four times this year, going 2-2. Holland started the year with a loss against Reinier de Ridder but rebounded with wins over Gunnar Nelson and Vicente Luque. However, "Trailblazer" has since dropped a unanimous decision against Daniel Rodriguez at UFC 318 last month. Meanwhile, Malott was a hyped prospect after earning his contract with a first-round submission win on Dana White's Contender Series in 2021. "Proper" lived up to the hype, finishing his first three UFC opponents, going beyond the first round only once. However, the Canadian's hype train was derailed by welterweight gatekeeper Neil Magny with a come-from-behind TKO last year. Malott has since rebounded with back-to-back wins and is fresh off a finish over fellow prospect Charlie Radtke at UFC 315 this past May.
