Joshua Van Calls For Fight With Brandon Moreno At Noche UFC
Briefly

UFC flyweight Joshua Van extended his win streak to four after a successful fight at UFC 316. He expressed a strong desire for his next bout to bring him closer to a title shot, specifically naming Brandon Moreno as a potential opponent. Van is eager for the opportunity, indicating that a fight in Texas could be significant. Additionally, his coach Daniel Pineda made a bet regarding a potential retirement based on Van's performance, showcasing the camaraderie and motivation in the training camp.
"Sh*t whatever get me closer to the belt. That's what I want next," Van told reporters including Cageside Press at his post-fight scrum.
"I'm not really the guy to call people, but I heard the UFC is coming to Texas. I also heard (Brandon) Moreno wants to fight on UFC Noche," Van stated.
"Brandon Moreno, before I got to the UFC, he was always nice to me. I didn't call him out to disrespect him. Respectfully, I want to fight him..." said Van.
"Daniel Pineda was talking about coming out of retirement for that one. He said if I get the finish he'll come out of retirement. That was the deal we made," Van explained.
