Cageside Press confirmed Rozenstruik's arrest with Broward County, Florida officials following an initial report by MMA Junkie. Rozenstruik faced a relatively light bond of $3500 combined for the two charges, but was also placed on an immigration hold."
"According the police records, Rozenstruik allegedly slapped a phone away from the unnamed complainant, attempted to kiss her, and bit her as part of an argument that took place inside a vehicle in Pembroke Pines, FL. When she attempted to exit the vehicle, Rozenstruik slapped her hand, and later took her to another location- leading to the false imprisonment charge."
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, 37, was arrested on charges of domestic violence battery (touch or strike) and false imprisonment following an alleged altercation with a woman in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Police records say he allegedly slapped a phone away, attempted to kiss the complainant, bit her during an argument inside a vehicle, slapped her hand when she tried to exit, and later took her to another location. Broward County booked him with a combined $3,500 bond and placed an immigration hold. Rozenstruik previously competed in kickboxing, RIZIN and UFC, headlined six UFC events, ranked in the heavyweight top 10, and was released in February 2025 after a loss to Sergei Pavlovich.
