Peter Murray, founding CEO of PFL who had been shifted to lead PFL International Leagues, has departed the organization. League officials announced the departure on Thursday and did not provide a reason or indicate who initiated it. PFL credited Murray with eight years of integral leadership that strengthened business operations, expanded the company’s global footprint, and helped establish PFL in MMA. Founder Donn Davis praised Murray’s entrepreneurship and said he expects continued support. During Murray’s tenure PFL expanded into Europe, MENA, and Africa and acquired rival Bellator MMA, affecting several fighter movements. John Martin became CEO earlier in 2025.
