"I was thinking the other day that it's really interesting because I'm basically doing the exact same thing right now that I was doing when I was five, six years old, other than I don't go to school. Other than that, I'm pretty much in the same routine that I've always been in, and I enjoy it."

Bo Nickal has extensive wrestling experience dating back to early childhood and maintains a daily training routine similar to when he was five or six. Nickal holds a 7-1 professional record and prepares to face Rodolfo Vieira after suffering his first career loss to Reinier de Ridder. The loss prompted significant mental changes that Nickal considers beneficial and motivating. Nickal balances multiple roles, including MMA competition, a podcast, work with the U.S. national team, and competing for Real American Freestyle, and responds to criticism by analyzing it rather than taking it personally.
