Benardo Sopaj Submits Cuamba After Knockdown at UFC Vegas 117
Benardo Sopaj turned pressure into a finish against Timmy Cuamba at UFC Vegas 117. Sopaj controlled the pace early, cutting off the cage and landing strikes while threatening with clinch and takedown work. In the first round, he took Cuamba’s back and cranked the neck, but Cuamba survived. In the second round, Cuamba’s low blow briefly paused the action.
