Arman Tsarukyan has expressed his willingness to act as a backup fighter for key lightweight matchups in the UFC's summer schedule, specifically UFC 317 and UFC 318. Following his previous victory over Patricky Freire, Tsarukyan is keen to step in if needed, emphasizing his dedication to the sport and rebuilding his reputation after pulling out of UFC 311 due to injury. As he prepares to fly back to the U.S., he aims to seize any opportunity presented by the UFC during this pivotal moment in his career.
"I am not sure if that's needed, but if they offer me that, I will definitely back it up," Tsarukyan said.
"Absolutely positive [I'd say yes]," Tsarukyan said. "I need to take chances now. I got injured and this injury got misinterpreted."
