Pop-up arts collective finds new home at former Lucca Ravioli site
Briefly

York Street Collective opened at 1100 Valencia St. as a four-month pop-up occupying the former Lucca Ravioli space. The venue functions as a community gathering space pairing a full-service mocktail and coffee bar with curated furniture and artwork for sale by West Coast designers. Founders Anand Upender and Anand Sheth celebrated the grand opening on Aug. 28 after collaborating on prior food and gallery projects. The menu encourages conversation and trying new things. Offerings include Indian-inspired curry leaf kombucha, chicory pandan coconut mocktails, iced chai and pourovers. Interior design features ochre lamps, sandstone stools, colorful rugs and communal seating; furniture prices range from $150 to $3,000.
Recommendations: Try something new. Start up a conversation with a stranger. Meet a neighbor, oh, and tip your bartender :)
My favorite one is an Indian inspired curry leaf and ginger kombucha drink. We have a really fun chicory pandan coconut drink that's like Thai meets India.
pandan in paradise,
