"The work that she's been doing in the city from the free lunch program to leading a historical organization, to coming back and doing affordable housing and working with the reentry population - her legacy in Oakland means absolutely everything," said Jenkins.
Brown joked to The Oaklandside 'I hope I make it to the naming.'
