El Faro, a 65-year-old taqueria in San Francisco's Mission District, is up for sale after the landlord doubled the rent. The current rent is $7,500, significantly higher than the previous $3,250. The restaurant is listed for $225,000 on Facebook Marketplace. Owners Raymunda Ramirez and Patrick Kocourek are seeking a buyer who can maintain the business. El Faro claims to have invented the super burrito, a large burrito filled with various ingredients, originally created by founder Febronio Ontiveros in 1961.
