An outdoor open mic event operates every Thursday evening from 9pm to midnight at the southwest streetcorner of 16th & Mission BART station in San Francisco. The event has been running for 18 years and celebrates its 20th anniversary in May 2023. It welcomes poets, musicians, emcees, comedians, and performers of all kinds, embracing all forms of artistic expression in any language. The event is completely free and maintains San Francisco's tradition of inclusivity and creative freedom. Performances occur outdoors under the stars amid the urban environment, creating a unique streetcorner venue for community artistic expression.
