Sandra Barry (40) is an equine worker who was arrested and brought before court this morning accused of posting a threatening online message aimed at Tánaiste Simon Harris. The online post allegedly threatened "violence" and contained the line that it would be "terrible if something happened" to his family. She has been charged with sending a "threatening or grossly offensive" communication to Mr Harris. Barry was granted bail by the court. Bail conditions bar any contact with Mr Harris, explicitly prohibiting contact through social media. The case proceeded through the criminal courts following the arrest.
