Lucia Istokova (36) and Jozef Puska’s brothers, Marek (36) and Lubomir (37), were convicted of withholding crucial information relating to Ashling Murphy’s murder and face a maximum of five years’ imprisonment. Istokova did not disclose that Puska told her "I didn't mean to kill that girl" in the hours after the killing. Istokova also withheld that Puska’s bicycle had been left near the scene and did not initially report that he burned the clothes he wore, later saying she had been "scared" to reveal those details. The Central Criminal Court heard the details during the proceedings.
