The Piper Cherokee, reportedly carrying an instructor and student, came down after 2 p.m. local time, scattering debris across the fairway and leaving the plane mangled on the fairway.
Both men in the plane miraculously survived with just minor injuries and were treated at the scene by paramedics. No one on the ground was injured.
