A private plane, a Piper Cherokee, made an emergency landing on Mona Vale Golf Course in Sydney after losing control. The aircraft was carrying an instructor and a student. The incident occurred around 2 p.m., scattering debris across the golf course. Fortunately, both occupants sustained only minor injuries and received on-site treatment. No injuries were reported among bystanders. The plane had taken off from Camden and was headed for Wollongong before the emergency landing. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch is reviewing the crash, similar to an earlier incident in Staffordshire this month.
