"outrageous and unprovoked insults directed against [US President Donald Trump]."
"I won't support the application for a Nobel prize for Trump because he does not deserve it,"
"[Trump] represents power politics and, by the use of force, pursues transactional politics, he argued."
The US ambassador to Poland severed contacts with Sejm speaker Wlodzimierz Czarzasty after accusing him of making outrageous and unprovoked insults against Donald Trump. Czarzasty, a member of the New Left party, said he would not support a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for Trump, calling him unworthy and characterizing him as pursuing power politics and transactional policies through force. Czarzasty criticized creation of a new US-led Board of Peace and urged strengthening existing bodies such as the EU, NATO, the UN and WHO. He also attacked Trump’s Greenland remarks and downplaying of European roles in Afghanistan. Czarzasty said the ambassador’s stance would not change his position.
