"The British Defence Minister John Healey has announced that the UK will deliver more than £600 million to strengthen Ukraine's air defences as Russia continues with their brutal onslaught. The £685 million will be used to buy "thousands of air defence systems, missiles and automated turrets to shoot down drones," Healey announced at the 32 nd Ramstein meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG)."
"Pistorius said, "Since our last meeting, we have significantly strengthened Ukraine 's air defence, in particular through the delivery of two Patriot systems promised in August, which was made possible thanks to our Norwegian partners, as well as the delivery of the ninth Iris-T system." The UK has provided £13 billion in defence aid since the war started.
