Visitors from North America provided €255m (41%), Continental Europe €197m (32%), Great Britain €118m (19%) and Rest of World €54m (9%). There were 646,400 foreign visitors who stayed a combined 5.1 million nights, averaging 7.9 nights. Departing passengers on overseas routes totaled 2,393,600, a 6.7% increase, with 62.0% being Irish residents.
