'This is a trap' - Enoch Burke hits out at judge decision to release him from prison as he confirms he will be outside school tomorrow

A High Court judge freed Enoch Burke from Mountjoy Prison despite the teacher not having purged his contempt. Mr Justice Brian Cregan ordered the release in the interests of justice to allow adequate preparation for a legal challenge against the appeals body reviewing Wilson's Hospital School's decision to sack him. The decision prompted an extraordinary exchange between Mr Burke and the judge in which Mr Burke said he would return to his workplace the next day and the judge responded with a rebuke. Mr Burke left Mountjoy Prison this afternoon.
