"Westport's premier arts festival ' Westival' is back for its fiftieth time from October 22 to October 27 in Co. Mayo. The Dead of Night Festival takes place in Longford Town from the 25th - 31 October with over 30 events.. Longford Town will transform into a vibrant stage of light, shadow and seasonal magic, featuring local artists, performers and community groups."

Nationwide Halloween and Samhain events will span October and early November, featuring county-by-county festivals, performances, parades and community activities. An interactive map enables residents to find local happenings and to join costume parties, immersive theatre, arts installations and seasonal celebrations. Carlow's Samhain Festival 2025 runs from Monday, October, 20 until Sunday, November 2 across five venues: VISUAL, Delta Centre, The Exchange, The Library and Duckett's Grove.
