Brent Council approved a licence for the Rangeelu Gujarat festival to take place at Roe Green Park, Kingsbury, from 5 to 7 September. Organisers agreed to conditions including later start times on Friday, a maximum noise limit of 65 decibels, a phone contact for residents, and 50 security personnel on site. Some residents expressed concern about noise affecting nearby Kingsbury High School. The festival will feature music, dance, comedy, vegetarian food, and regional arts and crafts. Organisers present the event as a non-religious celebration aimed at diverse communities and cultural identity awareness.
