The General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces said Russia lost an estimated 1,020 people, 360 unmanned aerial vehicles and 36 artillery systems in the past day, which Russia has not confirmed. Russian forces struck Ukrainian railway infrastructure, UAV storage and launch sites, and temporary deployment sites. Zelenskyy said Russia lacks the manpower for large-scale offensives and confirmed missiles for Western air-defence systems are being supplied under PURL funding, with over $2bn received and up to $3.6bn expected in October. Lithuanian prosecutors charged 15 people over detonations of DHL parcels at logistics depots in Europe last year, alleging Russian involvement.
