"It was a little bit a battle, but I had a lot of fun. And the slope, wow, was amazing, The preparation was top."
Camille Rast beat Mikaela Shiffrin in the Kranjska Gora World Cup slalom, ending Shiffrin's six-race slalom winning streak. Rast led by 0.10 seconds after the first run and extended the margin to 0.14 in the final run. Rast had won the giant slalom on the same hill the previous day and dedicated that victory to victims of a nearby bar fire. Wendy Holdener finished third 1.83 seconds behind and Paula Moltzan was fourth under two seconds back. Shiffrin holds World Cup records with 69 slalom wins and 106 overall victories. The next slalom is Jan. 13 in Flachau.
