Gardaí are searching waste ground on the edge of the north Dublin town of Donabate for a boy who is missing and presumed dead. They have this morning marked out a new zone within the cordon close to where two mechanical diggers continue to work. The new marked zone lies adjacent to active excavation points and appears to focus search efforts in a defined area. One man could be seen using a device similar to a surveyor's theodolite, placing it on the ground at various points and taking readings from it.
