Two packages containing sex toys were returned from a US naval base in Bahrain to a Toronto sex toy shop, accompanied by Pentagon letters stating that pornographic materials or devices are not allowed into the Kingdom of Bahrain. The shop, Bonjibon, does not ship to Bahrain and believes the orders were placed abroad and forwarded to Navy personnel stationed in Bahrain. Cofounder Grace Bennett described discovering the letters as a hilarious and bewildering moment. She emphasized that the shop does not judge customers and expressed surprise that service members might be unaware of local prohibitions. The Pentagon's Transportation Command lists prohibited items for Bahrain.
