"Marius Borg Hoiby, the son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit, denies four counts of rape but faces over 30 other charges just days after his mother was named several hundred times in the Epstein files. The eldest son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit was on trial in Oslo on Tuesday facing a string of charges including rape, domestic violence, property damage, drug offenses and traffic violations."

Marius Borg Hoiby, 29, faces a wide range of charges including rape, sexual abuse, domestic violence, property damage, drug offenses and traffic violations. Allegations include rapes and sexual abuse of several women between 2018 and 2024, with claims he filmed some acts while victims slept. Prosecutors say a conviction could bring up to 16 years in prison and the trial is scheduled to run until March 19. Hoiby has admitted minor offenses and cited long-term substance abuse and mental troubles. He was repeatedly arrested in 2024, indicted in August 2025, re-arrested recently, and held up to four weeks for reoffending risk.
