After he exited the bus in Kildare town it is understood a row developed at Magee Terrace, which is close to the garda station, and there was an incident in which Mr Weir Gibbons received a head injury. Mr Weir Gibbons was found unresponsive at approximately 3.15am and rushed to the ICU at Naas General Hospital."

Ryan Weir Gibbons, 29, suffered a head injury after a disagreement on a bus in Kildare in the early hours of Sunday, October 26. A row developed at Magee Terrace near the garda station after he exited the bus. He was found unresponsive at approximately 3.15am and rushed to the ICU at Naas General Hospital, where he died on Thursday, October 30. A post-mortem was carried out and An Garda Síochána launched a murder investigation. Funeral mass attendees heard Fr Gerard Breen call the death tragic and unnecessary, and mourners celebrated his life with personal items and memorabilia.
