"The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Callahow, Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick. The man was killed following a single-vehicle collision in Co Limerick on Sunday evening. The single-vehicle collision happened on the R519 at Callahow, Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick at approximately 7pm last night. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was transferred to the morgue in University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will be arranged."

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them. A spokesperson added: "Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 6.15pm and 7.15pm on Sunday 12th October 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
