The ruling pro-EU Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) led the count, securing about 49.6% of votes with 98% tallied, while the pro-Russian Patriotic Bloc took roughly 24.6%. Voter turnout reached about 51.9% of eligible voters. Earlier counts showed PAS at 46% versus the Patriotic Bloc at 27% with over 90% counted. President Maia Sandu alleged 'massive interference' from Russia; rival Igor Dodon blamed the West. Two Russia-friendly parties were disqualified before voting.
