Vladyslav Heraskevych appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after being disqualified from the Milano Cortina Olympics over helmet imagery depicting athletes killed since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation jury ruled the imagery breached rules on political neutrality. Heraskevych seeks reinstatement or a CAS-supervised run ahead of the final two runs. He expressed confidence, called himself innocent, said he is receiving threats and described the IOC decision as serving Russian propaganda. The IOC allowed him to keep credentials while Kirsty Coventry met him and his father and asked to preserve his accreditation.
