Met Eireann issues Yellow wind and rain warnings for eight counties on Bank Holiday Monday

The public has been warned of dangerous travelling conditions due to thunderstorm risks, localised flooding, and potential structural damage, including fallen trees and power outages.
A Status Yellow Rain Warning is in place for counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo effective from 2am Sunday night, indicating spells of heavy rain.
Despite upcoming heavy rain from Storm Floris, Monday's temperatures could remain warm, reaching highs of up to 20C.
