"More than 30 other people have already been arrested and more than 20 charged with public order offences following unrest after a young girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in the area on Monday. All those charged so far have been released on bail, with conditions including that they stay away from protests and the Citywest area. Four gardaí were injured and a patrol van burned during violence on Tuesday and Wednesday."
Gardaí detained two males — a juvenile in his teens and a man in his 40s — at Dublin-region stations; both will appear in court this afternoon. Gardaí continue to review CCTV and Body Worn Camera footage to identify persons involved in criminal activity and are carrying out forensic examinations at several locations. Gardaí released additional bodycam footage on social media to assist identification of those involved in rioting. The public is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station at 01 6667600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 with information.
