The crash, involving a pedestrian and a car, occurred in the Tubrid More area of Ardfert in north Kerry on Monday evening (March 2) at approximately 9:20 pm. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and said the driver of the vehicle had left the scene before the arrival of gardaí."
Two separate fatal road traffic incidents have been reported in Ireland. In a separate incident in Co Kerry, a pedestrian in his 30s died in hospital following a crash in the Tubrid More area of Ardfert on Monday evening at approximately 9:20 pm. The driver left the scene before gardaí arrived. A post-mortem examination and technical scene examination are pending. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in both cases.
