Leave to appeal has been granted in a case involving Revenue judgments exceeding €3 million against Dublin landlord and property developer Paul Howard and his life and business partner Una McClean. The Revenue Commissioners obtained judgments last year of €2.4 million against Paul Howard and €625,513 against Una McClean. Revenue is pursuing recovery of these sums from the couple. The legal dispute will proceed to the Supreme Court following the grant of leave to appeal. The outcome at the Supreme Court will determine whether the judgments and any attendant enforcement actions will stand or be overturned.
