Several thousand Microsoft Outlook users encountered significant issues with the email platform, affecting their ability to load inboxes or sign in. Microsoft 365's status page indicated that an investigation into the issue began Wednesday night, followed by the deployment of a fix. However, the initial remedy encountered a problem, leading to partially restored services. By Thursday morning, more than 2,770 users reported difficulties through Downdetector, as Microsoft worked on monitoring the ongoing deployment of solutions.
