"Claire sadly passed away following an accident involving a car while she was attending a wedding in the Dominican Republic. A well-known hairdresser and beloved member of the community, the area has come out in force to support her family and loved ones with touching tributes and messages on social media. Irish rock band The Riptide Movement, and also close friends of Claire and her family, said they were devastated by the news and remember her passion for music fondly."

They said they were honoured to have Claire sing with them on one of their very first songs entitled Pale Green Eyes at one of their earliest gigs almost 20 years ago at the Spa Hotel in Lucan."
"The band described how they will treasure a painting one of them received for their 30th birthday, calling her an "incredible artist and portrait painter." "Claire was truly one of the best, she lived life to the fullest, was loved by so many, and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her." Members of The Riptide Movement remember her passion for music and recall her singing on their early song "Pale Green Eyes" at the Spa Hotel in Lucan and at her wedding in Kerry. She was a gifted artist and portrait painter whose work is treasured by friends. She is survived by husband Ronan, children Rory and Liam, stepson Christian, parents, siblings and a large circle of family and friends.
