In Arlington, they're World Series-bound for a second year in a row
Briefly

The Arlington 8U baseball team qualified for the Cal Ripken 8U Player Pitch World Series for the second consecutive year, having dominated the District 7 title with a score of 49-4. The team secured a perfect 5-0 record in the Massachusetts state tournament and triumphed in the New England Regional. Coach Angelo Amico III praised the kids’ ability to focus during games. Support from families has been crucial, with parents coordinating travel and tournament logistics. A GoFundMe raised $11,000 to aid in expenses, and older teams contributed to the younger players' development.
When the games start, these kids seem to focus like I've never seen for a bunch of 8-year-olds. They absorb everything so quickly.
We went last year and now that I know what it's like, I think we can do a little better than last year.
The parents have been with us every step of the way. Without them shuttling the kids around, we wouldn't have a team.
These kids have had a lot of support with the other groups. It's been really fun for the little guys to look up to the bigger kids today.
