President Trump and first lady Melania Trump attended a formal state visit at Windsor Castle, participating in a procession, guard inspection, and meetings with King Charles, Prince William and Princess Catherine. The U.K. government is using the visit to advance trade and security cooperation and to influence U.S. policy on issues including trade and Russia-Ukraine. Leaders planned a meeting at Chequers with Prime Minister Keir Starmer to sign a Tech Prosperity Deal and announce more than $40 billion in U.S. tech investment by firms such as NVIDIA, Microsoft and Google. Discussions are expected to cover NATO commitments and support for Ukraine.
