Germany and other European allies are coordinating closely on plans to defend Greenland's sovereignty amid concerns about potential US intervention. European leaders in France and Germany are preparing contingency measures in case the United States attempts to take over Greenland. NATO-level consideration and urgent talks with US counterparts have been requested by Nordic officials.
