Galway farmer who caused aunt's death when he drove over her in teleporter has sentence reduced by 18 months

"Mr Justice Brian O'Moore today said that Michael Scott's negligent behaviour in driving the teleporter outside victim Chrissie Treacy's home without keeping a proper lookout warranted a headline sentence of six years."

The incident involved Scott driving a teleporter outside the home of victim Chrissie Treacy. Scott failed to keep a proper lookout while operating the teleporter, an action characterized as negligent behaviour.
