The meet-up, which began around 3:30 p.m., quickly turned chaotic as several individuals became unruly, leading to physical fights and property damage. Police called in officers from neighboring agencies to disperse the crowd, and businesses closed early due to safety concerns in light of the incidents.
Brentwood police confirmed that four juveniles were arrested for misdemeanor violations and a fifth for battery on a peace officer. All five were cited and released to their parents. Police said that while they support peaceful gatherings, disruptive or destructive behavior will not be tolerated and that a staffing plan is in place for future incidents.
