Finland defeated Serbia 92-86 in the EuroBasket round of 16 with Elias Valtonen scoring eight points in the final two minutes. Lauri Markkanen led Finland with 29 points and Valtonen finished with 13. Nikola Jokic scored a game-high 33 points, but Serbia trailed 11-1 early and lost despite a late long 3-pointer by Jokic. Finland collected 20 offensive rebounds. The victory was Finland's first over Serbia since 2009 and knocked Serbia out in the round of 16 for the second straight tournament. Finland will face either France or Georgia next. Turkey, Germany and Lithuania also advanced.
