The European Public Prosecutor's Office is conducting a fraud investigation targeting the European External Action Service and the College of Europe related to an EU-funded training course for diplomats, the European Union Diplomatic Academy. Police are investigating whether the 2021-2022 tender process unduly favored the school. Mogherini denies wrongdoing and is cooperating with authorities.
