David and I have now seen documents proving that the Mail were digging into me during times when I was in hospital and because I was in hospital."
"He accused the publisher's titles of committing the most horrendous things in the world in terms of invading his family's privacy. John and his husband, David Furnish, are complaining about 10 articles covering the birth of their son, the costs of their wedding, and John's health. Elton John described the publisher's behaviour as abhorrent and outside basic standards of human decency. He appeared by video at the high court and said he was incensed by allegations that private investigators had tapped phone calls and accessed private medical information. He and husband David Furnish complain about ten items of media coverage concerning the birth of their son, wedding costs, and John's health, and allege two episodes of unlawful information gathering that produced no coverage. They say documents show targeted digging during hospital stays and around their son's birth, including confidential details about an egg donor, embryos, and paternity. ANL denies the allegations.
