On Friday, the FDNY rescued a brood of ducklings trapped in a storm drain, according to a post published on the FDNY's account on X.
Firefighters with Engine 151 of Tottenville used a portable ladder to retrieve them from the drain, the FDNY said.
Once rescued, the baby ducks were seen waddling off with their mother.
This latest local animal rescue comes about a month after the NYPD saved another brood from a Tottenville sewer back in early June, as previously reported.
